AML/KYC Policy
Anti-money laundering and customer identification are an integral part of our work to keep the service secure.
General principles
BTCBank24 follows an Anti-Money Laundering and counter-terrorist-financing policy. We strive to ensure the transparency and legality of all operations conducted through our service.
Customer identification (KYC)
Standard exchanges require no registration or verification. However, in some cases we may request additional information to confirm identity: for large exchange amounts, on suspicion of fraudulent activity, for repeated operations showing signs of money laundering, and at the request of competent authorities.
Suspicious transactions
We monitor transactions for suspicious activity. Operations from known addresses linked to illegal activity (darknet markets, ransomware, sanctions lists) may be blocked. We use automated blockchain analysis systems for verification.
Prohibited actions
It is strictly prohibited to use the service for: laundering proceeds of crime; financing terrorism; circumventing international sanctions; fraud and phishing; any other unlawful activity.
Actions upon detecting violations
Upon detecting suspicious activity, BTCBank24 reserves the right to: suspend order processing; request documents confirming identity and source of funds; block the account; pass information to competent authorities in accordance with the law.
Data storage
Transaction data and identification documents (if requested) are stored securely in accordance with legal requirements. Access is strictly limited and granted only to authorized staff and competent authorities.
If you encounter fraud or suspicious activity while using our service, report it to an operator via the support chat. We will review your complaint promptly.
